Anderson Wildlife Area

A public hunting area of 196 acres acquired in 1992 with a grant from the Wildlife Habitat Stamp Program with a 75-25 match, a cash donation from the Montgomery County Pheasants Forever Chapters of $10,000.00 and other cash donations. A portion of this area has been planted to row crops and wildlife food plots by a FFA Cooperative of the FFA chapters of Red Oak, Stanton, and Villisca.

Fishing

There is no fishing at the Anderson Wildlife Area.

Hunting

Public hunting is allowed at the Anderson Wildlife Area. State laws and hunting regulations must be obeyed at all times.

Camping

There is no camping at the Anderson Wildlife Area.

Trails

There are no public walking trails.

Location

The Anderson Wildlife area is located in Red Oak Township, 2 miles northeast of Red Oak.
