Franek Prairie

A 3.75 acre triangular piece of land acquired from the IDOT located on Highway 34 between Stanton and Red Oak. Dorthy Franek gave the Montgomery County Conservation Board a $1000.00 donation for this purchase. A grant from the Living Roadway Trust Fund (LRTF) also provided funds for the planting of prairie grasses and wildflowers.
