Hacklebarney WoodsThis area totals 230 acres in size and is managed as a multi-use area. The public facilities at Hacklebarney Woods includes a campground with fourteen electrical sites, a horse campground with four non-electrical sites, a shelter house, three pit vault latrines, a swing set, approximately three foot bridges, picnic area and two ponds. FishingFishing is allowed during park hours. The major fish species in the lake are bluegill, channel catfish, large mouth bass and redear sunfish. State laws and fishing regulations must be obeyed.The main body of water is a 10 acre constructed pond with a maximum depth of 22 feet. Boats are restricted to electric motors only. HuntingHunting is allowed from October 15th through May 30th. State laws and hunting regulations must be obeyed. CampingCamping is available at Hacklebarney Woods on a first come first served basis. There are currently fourteen electrical sites and a horse campground with four non-electrical sites. TrailsHacklebarney Woods boasts approximately three miles of equestrian trails, walking trails and three foot bridges.
