Pilot Grove ParkThis twenty acre park is the first park purchased and developed by the Montgomery County Conservation Board. The public facilities available include a campground with sixteen electrical sites, three shelter houses, three pit vault latrines, picnic areas, a sand and grass volleyball court, basketball court, swing set, two tetherball poles and a four acre pond. The park is closed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. FishingFishing is allowed during park hours. The major fish species in the lake are bluegill, channel catfish, large mouth bass and redear sunfish. State laws and fishing regulations must be obeyed. HuntingHunting is allowed from October 15th through May 30th. State laws and hunting regulations must be obeyed. CampingCamping is available at Pilot Grove Park. There are currently 16 electrical sites available on a fist come first served basis. TrailsThere is a one-half mile concrete multipurpose trail around the pond. LocationThe park is located in Pilot Grove Township, three miles west of Grant on H14. |
