Where do I renew my drivers license?
Drivers license renewal is performed in the West Treasurer's office located in the courthouse. Hours for license renewal are between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may renew your drivers license up to 30 days before the expiration date or up to 60 days after.

Where do I renew my vehicle tags?
Vehicle titling and registration renewals are performed in the East Treasurer's office located in the courthouse. Hours for the motor vehicle office are between 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may renew your vehicle registration the month before expiration, the month of expiration, or the month after expiration without penalty.

Where can I register to vote?
The county auditor serves as the commissioner of elections for the county. You may register to vote or update by coming in to the Auditor's office, located on the first floor of the courthouse. Their hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can also mail in your completed voter application to:

Where can I get a fishing or hunting license?
Hunting and fishing licenses can be obtained from the county recorder's office, located on the first floor of the courthouse. Hours of operation are from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Where can I apply for a fireworks permit?
Fireworks permits can be applied for at anytime but are generally applied for beginning in June of each year. Contact the auditor's office at 623-5127 to get a fireworks permit application. After completing the fireworks permit application the appropriate fee must be paid. A background check will then be run by the Sheriff's Department and recommendation will be made to the Board.With this information the Board will then either approve or deny your application. You must live outside city limits and you adhere to state and local ordinances.

When does the board of supervisors meet?
The supervisors generally meet every Thursday. Check the board agenda for exact time and dates. To get on the agenda contact the auditor's office at 623-5127.

When are property taxes due?
The first half of your property taxes are due by the end of business on September 30th of each year. The second half of your property taxes are due by the end of business on March 31st of each year.
