On August 3, 2010 Montgomery County voters answered in favor of the Joint Law Enforcement Center referendum question by a margin of 1,402 YES responses to 367 NO responses. With 79% of voters answering yes, the Law Enforcement Center referendum has passed. The process will continue moving forward as the County pursues hiring an architect for the project. Whether recording a real estate document; applying for a marriage license; requesting a certified birth, death or marriage certificate; purchasing hunting/fishing licenses; registering and/or titling boats, snowmobiles, ATVs or ORVs; or applying for a US Passport; the customer now has the payment options of cash, personal/business check, money order, or Visa/Mastercard.
